  I see now that I cant argue with the "mindchild",we agree too close.
  I think joelbaby confuses the rights of say, Ted Jaracz, person.
  With the rights of Ted Jaracz GB member.
  "Ted Jaracz GB" person has gotta be stopped, he cant do the things he does.Not allowed. Course thats gonna cause him some big emotional problems. Thats your vengeance right there. Ted is suffering.
  But "Ted individual" is an "Evil man"? (like Avenger posted the other day). I think not.
  The Watchtower STRUCTURE has gotta go...not the people. They just gotta change their opinions.

  Imagine if Charlie Russell hadnt been ALLOWED to indicate that what he was writing was divine revelation.

  There wouldnt BE a Watchtower to pull down...

  Looks like Joel bear dont want to take the mind on. Like me hes probably INTIMIDATED by all the BIG words the mind uses.And like me it seems he aint inclined to cutting and pasting quotes outta threads as evidence of contradicting statements.
  I think Xena is a GREAT ex witness.

  As for the minds position....You set up a position indicating the WT must be crushed, wiped out.
  This is a fantasy we all have. I dream about it sometimes.
  That Bethel is blasted to the ground and the GB are dead.But what is that except a dream of vengeance.
  I cant hold the CONSCIOUS opinion that murder and vengeance are good things, even tolerable things. But deep inside...my animal side yearns for blood vengeance. Who says I am rational huh?
  When Im awake and rational, I think tolerance of some kind.
  They shouldnt be allowed to disseminate their totalistic doctrine,
  shouldnt be allowed to recruit.
  What needs to happen, I think, there needs to come drive from government, somehow, outlawing certain practises.
  Totalistic beliefs being disseminated.
  Just imagine if there was law banning any religion from INDICATING
  that its God talking when they speak.
  What would be the result of that?
  It would have a HUGE effect.
  If such a law were initiated,organizations like the dube would have to remodel, alter their patterns of behaviour, communication.
  In all likelihood they wouldnt survive the shift.
  Big loss to the world.
  No people, we should be working for government action.
  I think the understanding of the world is shifting where that which of I speak is becoming more possible.

  in an earlier thread reference was made to a court case in which fred franz stated that jehovah god was editor of the "watch tower".

  as this quotation is often used to support the allegation that jws believe the wt is inspired of god i thought it would be of wider interest to provide the relevant court record for general consideration.. the court case itself was in 1940 and was olin moyle against fred franz and others and the wtbts.

  just so that you know who is who, hayden covington was attorney for the defendants and walter bruchhausen was attorney for the plaintiff.

  What is the belief regarding the "Faithfull and Discreet slave" cllective, if not a fixed creed?
  It is a revealed truth. A fact of heavenly reality.
  yet, in times past the org held the position that Russell himself was the slave.
  The very fixedness of their "collective slave" understanding (currently held) is the reason they slip slide around the former position held regarding Russell, and seek to conceal it.
  They wish to show that their current position is the position they have always held, that interpretation has not changed.
  Divinely revealed facts do not change.

  This applies to their failed prophecies also.
  definition of 'infallible' from my dictionary-
  "exempt from error".
  If you make a prediction, and it doesnt happen, thats an error isnt it?

  God does.
  The Watchtower is divinely revealed truth. Inspired.
  Every member attending meetings believes that, why else would they all do everything the org tells, suggests, implies they should do
  unless they believe that what is being said is a directive from God Himself?
  Why does every member engage in the door to door activity?
  Because it is a command from God, as espoused thru the WT.
  If you cannot see that this means the WT is inspired and infallible I cannot help you.

  Well, Ive always thought of evil as INTENDING to do harm.Much like Satan deliberately leading our first parents into sin knowing they would die. premeditated.
  Still, looking in the old dictionary, under "evil" it says:

  Arent we getting just a little bit carried away here?
  Arent we overreacting just a touch? Avenger.
  "Murdering Governing Body"?
  "Evil men"? And you insist these men must be destroyed.
  Ive been hurt as bad as anybody, and any involvement with the org is a curse that I wish had never occurred, but I will never believe there is any evil INTENT in anything the org does.
  They might delude themselves into thinking they are protecting people
  and in reality are decieving them.
  They might hurt people and tell themselves there have to be casualties in a war and some must suffer in the pursuit of a higher purpose.
  But there is no ground for suggesting, implying, deliberate intent to hurt people.
